For Act. 11 we had to do a tiny project for a monologue. These are the things in my monologue and elements of it. I will eventualy add the monologue along with a forward from myself...

Monologue - Character

1.) Phych
- mad at mom for making only me go to residential school
- angery because she caused me pain
- "why doesn't she love me"
- feels ashamed to be indian, betrayed because only child sent
- wants to be loved and saved, right now feels punished (doesnt know what for)

2.) Physical Body
- (focus) looks away when reminicing (memories = pain)
- doesn't look directly
- light on his step, unsure tone in voice,
- stands like upper body(shoulders) is weighing bottom part of body down
- (evergy flow) intervals of anger and suffering and broken down.
- walking back and forth, sitting down, collasping (loss of will to stand)
- crying, tightening when angery, loose when broken down,
- anger towards mother but still wants to be rescued

3.)Where does it take place?
- right after funeral, letting go before after-life begins

4.)What just happend?
- murdered from Priest at residential school from being abused,
- @ funeral --> seen pain in mother (which showed she loved/cared), and in siblings

5.)An activity they do?
- hide, curl up, close up, go inside
- except when fellings&thoughts comes out like pandora's box
- fiddling with fingers or little things because of undecisiveness*

6.)Who do they speak to?
- mother & family(siblings)

7.)What are they talking about?
- what nuns/preist said........."mother sent you here...blame her"
- how my mother caused me the pain
- how much i blame my mother for sending me, and only me
- my ashament of being indian
- wounds caused by r.s but believes mother was cause
- feelings about my mother
- Objective ---> to tell my mother I wanted her to rescue me from the pain

8.)Monologue. "I want my mother to love me so I can love my self."

You're probably wondering what's with all the pictures. Some of which look really wicked... It's because I get really excited and started to make those on my computer with a new program I found called Picas2. Amazing program for editing or fooling around with pictures.
